This week’s Video of the Week features, Ocean Utopia, a stunning underwater installation by artist Val, Valérie Goutard’s artist signature, in collaboration with New Heaven Reef Conservation Program.
Through this project, Val and her husband, Frédéric, hope they will be able to give something back to the island of Koh Tao which is so dear to them.
Ocean Utopia will continue to change under the water as the water corrodes the medium and new coral reefs begin to grow on it.
“I will define the original set up underwater and will then leave it to the elements,” says Val.
