To celebrate the 20 Millionth Diver Certification, PADI ran a worldwide competition to mark this incredible milestone last year. On the 4th of September 2011, PADI Professional Lee Webber from MDA in Guam taught Alexandra Swanson who received the 20 millionth PADI certification on the completion of her PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Back in February, Alexandra enjoyed her trip on the Great Barrier Reef and you can relive her trip here

Minke WhaleNow it was Lee’s turn to enjoy his prize, an incredible liveaboard trip on board the Spirit of Freedom cruising the world famous Great Barrier Reef. Lee and his diving buddies enjoyed perfect weather and great visibility on the Great Barrier Reef during the trip.

Minke Whales inhabit these waters in June and a chance encounter with one of these incredible creatures was the icing on the cake of an unforgettable trip for Lee. Lee and the crew were lucky enough to snap a few pics of the Minke Whales as well as all the amazing underwater life of the Great Barrier Reef. You can check them all out below!
